بيان بخصوص مؤتمر شهادة الأيزو 17100 لاشتراطات خدمات الترجمة

عقد يوم الخميس الموافق 23 نوفمبر 2017 بالمركز الكشفي العربي الدولي بمدينة نصر مؤتمر عن أهمية اعتماد منظمة الأيزو العالمية ومعهد المعايير النمساوي لمؤسسات وشركات الترجمة والمترجمين العاملين في مصر؛ وذلك بحضور السيد الدكتور/ محمد علي إبراهيم المدير الإقليمي والمراجع المعتمد لشهادة الأيزو 17100 ممثلا عن معهد المعايير النمساوي والذي  طرح من خلال كلمته كيفية حصول الشركات العاملة في جمهورية مصر العربية والمترجمين على الشهادة بما يفتح الباب للتعامل على المستوى الدولي وفتح آفاق جديدة من تبادل الخبرات والأعمال وزيادة فرص الشركات والمترجمين المصريين في الحصول على مشاريع الترجمة والتعاون والاندماج على المستوى الدولي من شتى البلدان والقارات حول العالم.

كما حضر المؤتمر السيد/ سامح رجب المحاضر الدولي والمترجم المعتمد من البنك الدولي والأمم المتحدة ومراجع معتمد لشهادة الأيزو 17100 والذي ألقى كلمة عن خبرته الطويلة في صناعة الترجمة وكيف استفاد من اعتماده كمترجم دولي من خلال حصوله على شهادة الأيزو 17100 والذي أصبح بعد ذلك مراجعا معتمدا لمنحها لشركات الترجمة والمترجمين.

وعلى هامش المؤتمر، قام ضيفا المؤتمر بتسليم شهادتي اعتماد شهادة الأيزو 17100 الخاصة باشتراطات خدمات الترجمة وشهادة الأيزو 9001 الخاصة بنظام إدارة الجودة لشركة ترانس تك للترجمة والتي تعد أحد النماذج الناجحة في صناعة الترجمة في السوق المصري في الوقت الحالي؛ إذ استطاعت على مدار عشر سنوات من العمل الدؤوب في المجال كسب ثقة مختلف العملاء على المستوى المحلي والدولي، ثم قامت بالتقديم للحصول على الشهادة من خلال منظمة الأيزو العالمية ومعهد المعايير النمساوي واستطاعت الحصول على الاعتماد بعد الوفاء بجميع الاشتراطات القانونية للحصول عليها.

ويأتي هذا التكريم والمنح كأنموذج عملي لموضوع المؤتمر بما يمثل نموذج ومثالا يحتذى به لشركات ومؤسسات الترجمة وكذلك المترجمين العاملين في هذه الصناعة للاعتماد من الأيزو والوصول للعالمية. حضر المؤتمر لفيف من كبار المترجمين وممثلي شركات الترجمة وبعض ممثلي الشركات المتعاملة في صناعة الترجمة في مصر، إلى جانب عدد كبير من المهتمين بصناعة الترجمة والمترجمين.

جدير بالذكر أن المؤتمر شهد فقرة مفتوحة للنقاش وطرح الأسئلة من السادة الحضور عن آلية الحصول على الشهادة وتقديم أيسر الخطوات العملية للانتقال من المستوى المحلي إلى مستوى من المهنية والاحترافية والسبق إلى الميدان الدولي في هذه الصناعة المهمة.

About the job:

- Understanding the source language text, rendering it correctly in the target language with the appropriate style and register to the target audience.

- Making sure that the intellectual and structural content of the source language is maintained in the target language.

- Conducting the needed search, using specialized dictionaries, thesauruses, and online sources, to find the most accurate translation of the source text.

- Proofreading and editing the translated material.

- Adhering to the Translation Style Guide and following instructions given to them by reviewers.

- Making sure that their translations meet the applicable standards through sufficient research, checking with reviewers, good revision, …etc.

- Maintaining an ethical code that protects the confidentiality of information.

Job Requirements:

- A Bachelor’s degree in English Arts, Translation & Linguistics, or any other relevant field.

- Fluency in both English and Arabic

- At least 3 Years’ experience in translation.

- Proficiency in Microsoft office software

- Commitment to deadlines

- Excellent writing skills and command of grammar

- Attention to details combined with the ability to meet deadlines

- Time management skills

- Problem solving skills

- Self-motivation

- Eagerness to learn and acquire new knowledge

- Effective communication skills

- Work under pressure
